Best bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Delicious butter, oil, and balsamic vinegar. Great wine (Kleine Zalze Stellenbosch). Served with ice (optional of course). $4.

Truffle and mushrooms were great in the spaetzle. Cheese and bacon were odd and made it too rich. Sauerkraut was below average and not rated here.

Avocado. Bacon. Feta. Odd on a German schnitzel, but good. “Mushroom sauce” was Jagerschnitzel sauce and authentic. Red cabbage was average.

Weird combo, yes. 12/15/2024. Milkshake was different- unknown ice cream and vanilla. Certainly not as good as Hudman Drug. Tuna sushi was average. Both rate a 7 each.

Local South African dish made from dried corn and chakalaka (spicy, vegetable relish). Comfort food. Yummy. (More wine pairings for the evening.)
